Course title

UKCC2 1st4sport Cricket Coach Award

Course Content

This qualification will allow a successful candidate to work alone when coaching groups of players.  The course is structured with 8 modules of work, a 10 hour coaching logbook, a multiple choice questionnaire and a final assessment. 

Module 1: Introduction to Cricket Coaching 1

Module 2: Introduction to Cricket Coaching 2

Module 3: Coaching Children & Young Players

Module 4: Developing Technical Skills

Module 5: Group Coaching 1

Module 6: Improving Performance

Module 7: Coaching Tactical Play

Module 8: Group Coaching 2

Assessment: Group Coaching Assessment

Candidates can except to have an enjoyable experience working with our tutors and gain a vast about of knowledge.

Who

Candidates must be available for all 5 dates (8 modules of the course & assessment) and be willing to make a commitment to improve cricket within Devon.  This course is open to anyone interested in furthering there current coaching knowledge.

Additional Comments

Pre-requisites: CRB (Free), First Aid course (£25) and a Good Practice & Child Protection Course (£25).  Both courses will be available through the Devon Cricket Board for successful applicants.  Candidates must wear suitable clothing & footwear for cricket coaching!
