HOLDERS
Plymouth retained the Ivor Dewdney's Twenty20
title with a remarkable five-wicket win over Plymstock
in the final at Peverell Park.
Plymstock
appeared favourites to snatch the title off Plymouth
after amassing 179 for two in their 20 overs.
Steve Knight hammered a century in just 70 balls
as Plymstock piled up the runs.
Plymouth weren't about to relinquish their title
without a fight and knocked off the runs with
an over to spare.
Craig White (45) and Chirs Barr (41) led the chase
with Dave Burke and Luke Minnet both getting into
the 20s as the target was whittled down.
