My
background in cricket is:-
I
have played cricket at Sandford CC for my entire life
and have been involved in assisting the development
of their junior section. As a player I progressed
through the DCB County Youth system followed by a
brief time playing for Devon CCC and a short time
at Somerset CCC. I am now a Level 3 Coach and an ECB
Tutor.

I
have the following roles & responsibilities for
the DCB and I also undertake roles at a regional /
national level for:-
I
am responsible for helping the DCB delivery it's
strategic plan for cricket.
In reality
this means I am a paid employee of the Devon Cricket
Board supporting Clubs, Schools, District Development
Groups, Coaches Associations, Board volunteers, Womens
& Girls Cricket, Disability Cricket, Facilites Development,
Groundsmen, Welfare, Officials and all other cricket
organisations within Devon . My main roles are to assist,
support and develop cricket, working with volunteers
across the county. |
I
can help you with:-

I
am able to help and give clubs advice on ClubMark,
applying for grant funding, accessing interest
free loans, creating school-club links, CRB
, Welfare Officers, Natwest Cricket Force,
Natwest OSCA's, Development Planning, One
Game, Development Groups, Chance to Shine,
Groundsmanship, coaching & training courses.

What
best describes you which is not mentioned already?
currently
coach the Devon under 14's team and am involved in
supporting the DCBYA youth programme annually. I also
tutor coaches in Devon at Level 1 & 2, working
for the Coaches Association.
