B Division brieing - week nine | Foreman and Taylor in for Bovey against Bridestowe

Chris Cook – back for D&T this Saturday

B DIVISION BRIEFING

Bideford v Ipplepen

Bideford (James Ford): I am in charge as Tom Brend is away and still to finalise team. We need to get back to winning ways. Our batting needs to start firing again, as it did in the first five games. Always haves good, competitive games against Ipplepen,

Ipplepen (Simon Tapley): Looking forward to playing Bideford. They are a good bunch of lads. A bit of rain about so hopefully we can miss that. Still finalising the side as there are a few lads working who aren't sure if they will be released for the weekend.

Bovey Tracey v Bridestowe

Bovey Tracey (Dan Green): Looking strong at the moment with Ed Foreman and Sam Taylor in. Got a tough game. Hopefully we can resume the winning run after last week's rain off.

Bridestowe (Dan Fogerty): Ryan Dennis away running a marathon, Gary Sizmur working and Pat Ewen stranded in Newcastle due to transport problems. In come Craig Penberthy, Billy Searle and Jack Hatton as likes for like. Tables don't lie. They are the best team in the division so far so. Hopefully, we have a rain-free game and see what happens.

Dartington & Totnes v Ivybridge

Dartington & Totnes (Mick Rusling): Despite fielding a weakened side last week at Chudleigh there were several positives. Dropped catches again proved very costly. We have Chris Cook and Dave Harvey back this week and are looking to be competitive against Ivybridge.Cebo Tshiki – new Ivybridge captain

Ivybridge (Adam Huxtable): I've had stepped down from the captaincy. Cebo Tshiki has taken over. Team isn't confirmed yet but we are looking to take the positives from last week and get the win! We have a really young side and it was great to see a couple of them perform well last week! Hopefully more of the same this week.

Clyst SG v Chudleigh

Clyst SG (Dan Kendall): Krupakar Nallala is back in this week and will keep wicket. We want to build on last week and if we can close the first half of the season with six wins. That would be an excellent return for us.

Chudleigh (Will Heather): Couple of changes this week due to work commitments. Looking to build on last week's, all-round good performance. We showed good discipline with the ball and want to continue that this week. Clyst are on a good run at the moment and are a strong at home. Looking for a solid performance before the turn of the season

Tavistock v Cullompton

Tavistock (Shaun Daymond): James White, Matt Puttock, Ryan Burke out; Aaron Churchill, James McGahey and Nick Coe in. Missing a few top-order batters, but we're happy with the side we have and like most teams, it's hard to get everyone available. Let's hope the rain holds off so we can keep up the good run and push another win. Our next two games being at home, we would like to win both – and with eight games left it should put us in a good position.

Cullompton (Todd Scrace): Pretty much back to fill strength this week. Euan Tinley and Nathan Vincent back in. We are looking forward to playing after lasts week’s disappointing decision to cancel the match. Losing those points on the rest of the teams has made us more eager to pick up a win down at Tavistock.
