part of his benefit year, which he is sharing with The
Children's Hospice South West based at Little
Bridge
House, Fremington, Marcus Trescothick (pictured)
will be bringing a Somerset side to play Bideford in
a 20/20 match at Bideford's Westward Ho! ground.
The match
will take place on the evening of Monday, August 11,
starting at 5pm.
Entrance costs £5 for adults, is free for children,
and tickets are available and can be ordered in advance
of the match from Jim Lowe at the address and telephone
number below. Cheques should be made payable to BCC
20/20 Charity Match.
The club is seeking sponsors for the game. If you would

The Club is also holding a benefit dinner for Marcus
at the Royal Hotel in Bideford on the November 14. Again,
the proceeds will be shared with Children's Hospice
South West.
Tickets for this event are £25 each, or £20 each if
a table of 10 people is booked (i.e. £200 for a complete
table if all seats are booked and paid for at the same
time).
Overnight accommodation is available at The Royal at
a special B&B rate of £25 per person.

the match, and will also be taking on the role of MC
