PHIL Norris was the star of the show with both ball and bat for Uplyme & Lyme Regis.
Norris first claimed a wonderful haul of 7-11 from 13 accurate overs as Woodbury were all back in the pavilion for 133.
Norris then struck a six-boundary 40 to help his side to a comfortable six-wicket success. Ottery St. Mary took Churchinford to the cleaners inflicting a huge 222 run defeat on the villagers.
Paul Martin hit 17 boundaries in a magnificent 108 and Robert Bradshaw-Smith continued his fine early season form with 77 - the pair added 159 for the Otters' fifth wicket - in a total that closed on 272-7.
Jodie Clements (4-17), Louis Townsend (3-6) and Rob Johns (3-16) shot the visitors out in double quick time.
Tiverton & Bickleigh went down by two wickets to Cullompton . Chris Reed top scored with 30 in the T&B score of 111, Martin Elliott claimed three wickets and skipper Gerard Wilkinson took 4-19.
Dave Percy then hit 36 and Wilkinson 20 as Cully got home with two wickets to spare, Scott Hudson took 3-18 for the losers.
Honiton's miserable start to the campaign continued with a third successive defeat, this time humbled by Yarcombe & Stockland who claimed a six-wicket win.
Only Kev Kelly (33), Pete Matravers (32) and Tim Hemery (29) were able to master the ball in difficult conditions as Honiton tabled a score of 139, too few this for Yarcombe who sailed home thanks to a 14-boundary unbeaten 77 from Matt Hammond, Phil Tansley claimed three of the four Hosts wickets to fall in the run chase.
