FORMER Sandford all-rounder Prince Masvaure is set to become the latest addition to the Devon League Test Match Club.

Masvaure, who played for Sandford last season, has been named in Zimbabwe’s 16-man squad for the two-game tour to New Zealand.

If the 28 year old plays in a Test he will join a long list of international players with Devon League clubs on their CV before reaching the big time.

Among them are South Africans Kyle Abbott (Lewdown), Jacques Rudolph (Paignton), Fanie de Villiers (Torquay), Vernon Phillander (Budleigh), J P Duminy (Exmouth), New Zealanders Adam Parore (Barton) and Roger Twose (Torquay), Chris Rogers  and Stuart Macgill (Australia), England trio Chris Read (Paignton), John Childs (South Devon) and Mark Lathwell (Braunton).
