LLOYD White slammed his fourth league ton of the season and is best yet as the D Division West front runners dispatched Newton St Cyres by 191 runs.
White followed tons against South Brent (123), Stokeinteignhead (122) and Topsham St James (105) with 138 against St Cyres.
With Ashley Berry and Andy Mole making 40 and 31 respectively, Ashburton totalled 285 all out.
St Cyres were all out in reply for 94 – Will Coon taking four for 12.
Ashburton are still top of the table by 11 points from Shaldon with Yelverton a further 23 points behind in thid.
Although Yelverton won by seven wickets at Topsham St James, they had five-points deducted for fielding an ineligible player.
SHALDON Optimists handed out another hiding to South Brent as they closed in on one of the two promotion places out of the division.
When the sides met first time round this season, Shaldon amassed 316 for six then dismissed South Brent for a paltry 18.
Second time round Shaldon won the toss, asked South Brent to bat and bowled them out for 30.
Dave Fidoe with 16 was the only South Brent batsman to make a double-figure score.
Two made six each, there were a couple of ones and six made nothing at all.
Shaldon’s Ryan Bougourd destroyed South Brent first time round – 97 runs and seven wickets - and sort of did it again in the rematch.
After Ross Aitchison (4-12) claimed the first four wickets to go, Bougourd performed the hat-trick on his way to identical figures of four for 12.
After Bougourd completed his nine-over stint, Mark Couch and Tshepo Legodi knocked over the last two.
Kiwi George Thomas (23no) did most of the run scoring in the 4.1 overs Shaldon needed to make 31 to win.
Shaldon stay second behind Ashburton, who had an emphatic win of their own over Newton St Cyres.
EXWICK won on the chase at Buckland Monachorum, where they rowed past the home side’s 141 for nine with more than 12 overs to go.
Garath Edwards (340 and skipper Steve Mannell (24) were the prime run getters in the home side’s total.
Super-veteran Rehann Caryl had four for 29 and there were two wickets each for Ross Pascoe and Nick Rowe.
Kris Kalderhead’s 54 set Exwick in motion, Nick Rose (30) kept them going and a brace of 13s by Howard Rose and Dan Machin (13no) wrapped things up.
KENN made light work of 115 to win when they entertained Stokeinteignhead.
James Mason (3-20) and Rob Parsons (3-28) were the pick of the bowlers as Kenn skittled Stoke for 114 in the 32nd over. Pete Chislett had two for six from seven miserly overs.
A stand worth 44 between Andy Thornton-Clarke (38) and Mike Lang (13) was as good as it got for Stokeinteignhead.
There was little Stoke could do to slow the Kenn charge to victory, led by opener Ben Chaloner with 80 not out.
Martin Swannell (28) went at 98 for one, leaving Ben Gannon (4no) to close out a nine-wicket win.
Yelverton Bohemians kept up the pressure at the top of the league with a seven-wicket victory away to Topsham St. James.
After losing the toss and bowling first, Yelverton gave away a few early boundaries, with a hard, uneven outfield making ground fielding difficult and giving the batsman high value for their shots.
An early bowling change initially tightened thongs up and finally bought the first wicket, with Hadleigh Scott-Kirk (3-36) bowling opener Aiden Pring for 24, the score 51-1 off 14 overs.
After this, wickets started to fall at regular intervals, with Pete Lojszczyk (2-22), Dan Cooper (1-29), Richard West (2-24) and Dan Farnham (1-17) contributing, the only resistance coming from Dan Armstrong, who scored a quickfire 35.
Yelverton started quickly with Dan Coper (24), and in particular Pat Hobbs who scored 18 off 15 balls.
A couple of quick wickets then fell, before Rob Grove (34*) and Lojszczyk (81*) came together, playing sensibly to first rebuild and then accelerate the game away, Yelverton reaching their total in 26.5 overs, and avenging the loss to Topsham earlier in the season.
