Admission free to ground for big game at Mount Wise

PLYMOUTH are hoping for a full house at Mount Wise later this month when Lashings World XI are in town.

All 300 hospitality seats in tents around the ground sold out within days of going on sale.

Ground admission to the match will be free and as it is half-term week the club expects families to head for Mount Wise for a cricket day out.

The advice to spectators is to park at Plymouth Albion as there won’t be any spaces at Mount Wise for cars.

Lashings won’t finalise their team until a couple of days before the game, however they have already pencilled in some players, among them the former England fast bowler Devon Malcolm.

Other players confirmed so far include West Indies star Tino Best, Indian legend Wasim Jaffer and former Somerset stars Charl Willoughby and Yasir Arafat.
