Having beaten Gloucestershire earlier in the season, we met at Heathcoat Cricket Club, could Devon repeat the fabulous performance from June?

Gloucestershire won the toss and elected to bowl, and unfortunately Devon were three down in the sixth over for just 21. Time to rebuild and captain, Maddie Holifield (27) did just that. Girls in the middle order struggle to make it into double figures, though Katie Donovan batted sensibly for her 29.

Devon completed their innings for 147-9

Requiring a good bowling and fielding performance from Devon to win, the girls started well and early wickets for opener Maddie Holifield (6-2-6-1) and Katie Harman (7-2-27-2), put Devon in a commanding position. Katie Donovan (7-3-8-4) bowled exceptionally well to take out the middle order and Gloucestershire were struggling on 59-8 at drinks. Eventually Devon bowled Gloucestershire out in the 35th over.

Devon won by 63 runs.
