ONLY one match started in the D Division West - and that didn't finish!

Whitchurch Wayfarers made 107 for nine before rain stopped play in their meeting with leaders Kenn.

Opener Josh Towl got his head down to make 31 before he was seventh out at 95. The best stand of the innings was one of 36 for the fifth wicket between Towl and Richard Potts (14).

Hugh Stronge, the former Chudleigh seamer, had four Whitchurch wickets for 36 runs. The Thomas brothers – Jack (2-24) and Ollie (2-18) – both bowled frugal nine-over spells.

Rain prevented any play after tea in what had been reduced to a 35-over contest.
