CHAMPIONS Kenn didn’t hang about en-route to a nine-wicket win over Exwick in their final game of the season.

Opening bowler Hugh Stronge took four for 19 to help Kenn dismiss Exwick for 114. The rest of the wickets taken were shared between eight other bowlers.

Nick Cranston made 31 coming in at 45 for five to stave off total collapse.

Ben Chaloner was the casualty as Kenn knocked off the runs inside 14 overs. Martin Swanell (37) and James Gosling (70) tucked in.

Chelston & Kingskerswell defeated 10-man St Marychurch Old Boys by six wickets.

Sean Tucker (30no) and Stephen Davies (26) had the only scores of note in St Marychurch’s 45 –over total of 116 for eight.

Pat Duke and Erik Gregerson picked up three wickets each.

Chris Harrison (28) gave C&K a start then Gregersen (23no) and Duke (22no) wrapped things up.

Whitchurch cruised to a six-wicket win over Yelverton in the Moorland derby at Langton Park.

Tom Watkins hit 83 not out to rescue Yelverton from the depths of 87 for seven and help them to a respectable 198 all out. Darren Sambells (3-25) did the initial damage.

There were no real dramas on the chase for Whitchurch. Veteran Martyn Credicott (66) and Ben Powell (53no) made sure of that.
