ASHBURTON intend getting plenty of practice in before the 2018 season.

Indoor nets start in the Coombeshead Academy Sports Centre on Sunday, February 25 between 3-4.30pm.

Apart from Easter Sunday (April 1), indoor nets will run until April 8.

Outdoor training will start on Thursday, April 12 if weather conditions are suitable.

Pre-season action starts at home to Babbacombe on April 15. Futther home games have been arranged against Abbotskerswell (April 21) and South Plymouth (April 22).

The weekend before the Devon League season starts has been set aside for a mini-tour to South Wales.

The tour starts with a Friday night T20 fixture against St Fagans – the Cardiff club where former Devon captain Matt Thompson is a player.

Saturday afternoon has been set aside for a half-day match against Whitchurch Heath.
