SOMERSET CCC has generously offered Devon CCC members the chance to watch the first day of the County Championship game against Hampshire next month free of charge.

Day one of Somerset’s game against Hampshire at the Cooper Associates County Ground is May 11.

Devon members will be admitted at no charge by showing their 2018 membership and fixture card at the gate.

Somerset staff have arranged for seating in the lower tier of the Pavilion Stand to be available for the exclusive use of Devon members throughout the day. Devon members are asked to use the St James Street entrance.

“We are determined to make it a memorable annual occasion,” said Devon chairman Neil Gamble.

The joint venture is part of a drive by Devon to increase membership numbers this season.

Other incentives to join the club include a free monthly draw for members, the prize for which is hospitality for two – morning coffee, lunch and tea – at a subsequent home match of the winners’ choosing.

Somerset members will be welcome at any of Devon’s games on a reciprocal basis all season.
