With the recent seasons success across the board in the women’s and girl’s games, women’s cricket is taking a new and exciting direction.
Western Storm in conjunction with Devon Cricket and Somerset Cricket want to create a team of inspiring females within the club network to help the growth of women’s cricket in clubs across the South West.
The Storm Champions Course is available for females aged 16+ who would like to take a more active role in supporting women & girl’s activity in clubs and the wider community. The course is designed to give females involved in cricket the confidence and skills to take on some of the roles involved in running cricket as well as connecting to other like-minded females across the South West!
What the Storm Champion Course will offer:
- ‘How to promote & market your club’ support.
- Officiating – Introduction to Umpiring and Scoring
- Coach support worker course (Introduction to delivering cricket)
