IT has been another successful year of the All Stars cricket programme in Devon with more than 1,450 five to eight year olds taking part across the county.

The programme is now embedded in clubs' junior sections, giving young children a great first experience of cricket as well bringing in new families and volunteers.

Following a fantastic summer of cricket, and with more than 67,000 children taking part in All Stars Cricket, the ECB are launching an exciting new programme for 8-11 year olds to follow on from All Stars. The programme will make cricket accessible for even more children throughout the country and provide the next step for those who have taken part in All Stars.

A club support email has recently been sent out directly from ECB, and sent directly to lead activators, with details of regional roadshows where all the details of the new programme will be shared.

The Devon Cricket Board have also requested a more local roadshow so all clubs will have the opportunity to attend. The details of this are as follows:

Wednesday, December 4

Fingle Glen Golf Hotel, Tedburn St Mary, Exeter, EX6 6AF

6.30pm arrival for 7pm start (8.30pm close)

Clubs are encouraged to bring two representatives along for the evening – REGISTER YOUR ATTENDANCE HERE
