Andy Johnson Ivybridge Groundskeeper Andy worked tirelessly on the ground all winter and continues to do so now, ready for a safe return to cricket. The ground is looking great thanks to his constant hard work and dedication.
Charles Inniss Hatherleigh  Groundskeeper

The pitch is always brilliant. He’s been doing it for as long as I can remember, I’m 38 he was doing in when I was in under 11s! and I can’t remember him every being rewarded for it. Quiet and modest.A really nice guy.

Tony England  Bovey Tracey Groundskeeper Tony has worked tirelessly on our ground, cutting, fertilising, watering and rolling the square. His enthusiasm has been admired by many members and members of the public.
Fred Harding Sampford Peverell & Tiverton Groundskeeper Fred has worked tirelessly - not only throughout the winter, but throughout the 'lock-down' period to ensure that the wicket, outfield, pavilion and surrounding areas are fit for cricket when we get the green light. The ground is looking a picture and a real credit to both Fred and Pauline for all of the work they have put in.
Andy Johnson Ivybridge Coach/Manager/Activator Our youth section has gone from strength to strength over the past 7-8 years winning multiple leagues and cups in the process. He has a selfless attitude and has run at least 2 teams every season. Top coach, top bloke.
Stacey Maskeline Ivybridge  Coach/Manager/Activator She’s always present-on time and accepts our failings. She keeps training fresh and fun and she has kept us a cohesive group during the lockdown with quizzes/bingo on zoom. We all love her!
Jackie Baker Torquay   Hearbeat of the Club

Jackie has simply re-written the law book for cricketing wives / mothers. Jackie oversees all the club catering while acting as chief chef at the Friday Barbecues which brings the entire club together as well as much needed income. Add to that her barmaid duties. Jackie has persuaded many families to do the teas which have greatly improved due to the friendly rivalry to provide the best.  Even out of season, the Wednesday afternoon pavilion renovator’s are always supplied with cake.

Paul Garnham  Clyst Hydon Hearbeat of the Club Since playing Junior cricket at cricket at Clyst hydon, it has forever been the example of a truly special village cricket club. A beautiful ground, amazing teas, open and welcome to anyone and everyone who wants to play - many years they have been a true hub for people looking to play mid week cricket, as well as 2 teams on a Saturday. For such a small village, the club has always relied on individual heartbeats - Keith Wood, Bill Sutton, Alan Garnham, John Holmes & Peter Howard in times gone by, and Paul Garnham has single handedly taken on from all of those guys and sustained the club for the last 10 years. He has absolutely been the life and soul of it, and hopefully the support of a new generation will now help him sustain it for many years to come.
Bob Rice Thorverton  Umpire/Scorer Home or away Bob supports the team; engages with our opponents and brings a sense of humour to let’s face it a role without which neither side would know the outcome. Bob however deserves special mention as his other role is Honorary Treasurer and Bar Manager with his wife Janet. Cricket wouldn’t function without the likes of Bob.
Simon Travers Cornwood  Umpire/Scorer Simon took up scoring for our 3rd/4th team for the last 2 seasons, he has taken to it like a duck to water using ipad and technology to great effect. He is a great addition to the scoring team at Cornwood.
Steve Birley  Bradninch  Umpire/Scorer Week in week out Steve is there to score, and after the game is done he will spend countless hours writing up reports, not just on the game he has scored, but for each team that has played. During Lockdown he has been running match reports from era’s long ago – always providing stimulating and engaging content for both Bradninch and the wider cricket community to be captivated by.
Stuart Mansfield  Cornwood Umpire/Scorer Stuart has umpired our second team for more years than I can remember. He the most reliable member of our umpire team and commands respect from all the players.
