CORNWALL CCC have confirmed venues for Devon’s two matches over the Tamar in the summer ahead.

James BurkeAlthough the National Counties fixture list was published prior to Christmas, Cornwall officials faced delays arranging venues.

The 50-over game on June 20 will be played at the Trewirgie ground in Redruth, where a new dressing room complex and pavilion refurbishment has been completed since Devon were last there in 2013.

Half-centuries from James Burke and Josh Bess helped Devon to a 66-run win over Cornwall.

Truro’s Boscawen Park ground will host the three-day Championship game starting on August 1.

Cornwall won the last meeting between the two sides on the Malpas Road ground when Brad Wadlan (6-72) bowled them to a 158-run win on the final day.

The 2015 game was significant as the first time future England spinner Dom Bess played for Devon in three-day cricket.
