IT’S finals day on Sunday in the Sunbelt Rentals Devon T20 Cup when the last four gather at Bovey Tracey for a festival of cricket.

Exmouth face Cornwood in the first semi-final at 10am, followed by Plymouth against Bradninch at 1pm in the second semi.

The final is set to get under way at around 3pm.

Plymouth reached the final on Sunday by defeating Heathcoat in a bowl out after the match was washed out by bad weather.

Bradninch came through courtesy of a quarter-final win over near neighbours Sandford.

Richard Foan top scored for Sandford with 55 in their total of 139 all out. Rory Thomas (67) and Mitch Pugh (33) led Bradninch to a seven-wicket win.

Cornwood defeated Sidmouth by six-wickets when they chased 150 to win and got them with five balls to spare.

Alex Barrow (44) and Dan Powell (34) were Sidmouth’s prime run scorers in their 20-over tally of 149 for nine.

Max Finzel (61) and Jackson Thompson (37) put the Corns on the road to victory.

Exmouth were waved through to finals day by Plympton, who conceded their quarter-final.

Plympton had already lost to Exmouth by three wickets in their qualifying pool.
