CHELSTON and Kingskerswell are still looking for their first league win of the C Division season after dipping out by 95 runs to Whitchurch Wayfarers.

Billy Barriball (57) and Ben Powell (53no) dominated the Chelston and Kingskerswell bowling as the Wayfarers totted up 239 all out.

Barriball and Rob Bone (25) put on 75 without loss then Powell and Charlie Barriball (34) added 49 for the third.

Powell batted through to the end, which came when Nick Guest ran out last man David Northey.

Pat Duke (2-37) and Russ Bennett (3-37) were the pick of the C&K bowlers.

Billy Barriball hadn’t finished with Chelston yet as he broke the opening partnership between Chris Harrison (34) and Steve Waters (27), then added Gary Brenton and Guest.

The game got away from C&K in the time they plunged from 83 for two to 95 for seven.

Mark Kerswell (3-18) and Rob Bone (3-28) sorted out the tail enders as C&K were bowled out for 144 in the 43rd over.
