SHALDON’S Ryan Bougourd bowled out Stokeinteighnead single handed – taking all 10 wickets in the D Division West derby clash at Netherton Park.

Bougourd, who returned to Shaldon earlier this season after 15 years at Bovey Tracey, took all 10 wickets for just three runs as Stoke were bowled out

All 10 of Bougourd’s wickets were bowled. Tshepo Legodi and Ross Abraham didn’t get a look in at the other end!

Karl Blackburn then knocked off the runs on his own, hitting a six to win the game in the fourth over to finish on 23 not out. George Thomas was the other end didn’t score a run.

‘We had two hundred per centers,’ said Shaldon captain Mark Couch.

‘Ryan took 100 per cent of the wickets and Karl scored 100 per cent of our runs.’

The Devon League is now in its 45th season and in that time only five other bowlers have taken all 10 wickets in a game.

The last time it was done was way back in 1996 when Chelston’s Pete Griffin bowled out Okehampton with a 10-for-39 haul.
