BRIDESTOWE defeated Plymouth CS&R by six wickets to move up into fifth in C West.

PCS&R were reduced to seven for four and then 30 for seven thanks to devastating early spells from Tom Fogerty (5-16) and Gary Sizmur (3-22).

Cameos from James Sharp (17) and Daniel Ellard (20) got PCS&R to 85, which represented a decent recovery.

The chase was fairly straightforward for Bridestowe, with Sizmur (14) and Phil Hatton (25) getting to 44 before they both fell to Simon Light (2-28).

Dan Windsor (2-21) picked up a couple more wickets towards then end, but some lusty blows from Tom Fogerty (30no) saw Bridestowe over the line with more than 15 overs remaining.

THE Moorland derby between Whitchurch and Chagford was called off without a ball bowled.
