A Division previews – week three: Hatherleigh unchanged for Cully clash | Vincent (pictured) back in Cully attack

Cullompton

HATHERLEIGH v CULLOMPTON

Hatherleigh (Rob Cockwill): Remarkably, we are unchanged for the third week in a row, first time in about five years. Looking to build on two fantastic performances. We haven't played Cullompton in a few years so not sure what to expect. We know they have some dangerous players. As long as we enjoy our cricket and give 100 per cent, the results should look after themselves.

Cullompton (Dan King): Looking forward to going back to Hatherleigh CC. It is a great opportunity to build on the positives of the last two weeks as individuals and as a group. James Vincent returns from family commitments for Sukhdeep Singh who is away (family commitments).

BOVEY TRACEY v TORQUAY & KINGSKERSWELL

Bovey Tracey (Seb Ansley): Now we're on the board with the first win at home we want to kick on this week against a dangerous Torquay & Kingskerswell side. Various people have chipped in with the bat so far, would love to see one of the top-order be the anchor this weekend and keep up the good totals so far. One change from last week. We bring in young Gethin Williams, who bowled well for the 2nd XI last week.

Torquay & Kingskerswell (Harry Passenger): Looking to capitalise off the back of a convincing win last weekend. Few players out from previous weeks, but still looking to improve as the season goes on.

TAVISTOCK v PLYMPTON

Tavistock (Sean Cleave): We’re coming off two good wins, the lads are confident and enjoying their cricket. However, we know there’s still room for improvement, and we’re working hard to keep getting better. We need to stay fully committed with bat, ball, and in the field, and be ready from the start to get the result we want. It’s great to have Ian Gray and Rhys Davies back—they’ll add experience and strength to the side. Plympton haven’t had the best start, but we won’t underestimate them. They have quality and can be dangerous

Plympton (Harry Kandampully): Tavistock will be a very strong test for our side with two wins under their belts. We are back to almost full strength with Jamie Bailey, Sam Ford and Callum Williams, who were all unavailable last week, back in the side. Oli Goulder also steps up from the 2nd XI after a good bowling performance. Ed Hurst and Tom Appleyard are unavailable due to uni commitments. Need a better performance from the batting unit this week to be competitive against a good bowling attack.

BRIDESTOWE & BELSTONE

Bridestowe & Belstone (Tallan Burns): Only one change from last weekend. Jack Hatton unavailable so Paul Penberthy returns to the side to bat in the top order. We had two tough games with Thorverton last season so expect another one this weekend.

Thorverton (Jake Choules): Two changes. Luke Vukusic has gone back to uni so he'll be missed over the next few weeks. Andy Kingdon is working. In come Nick Chaplin and Ben Coe who has been in the runs in the 2nd XI. Expecting a tough challenge as always.

BARTON v KILMINGTON

Barton (Stephen Lewis): Had a couple of eye openers and welcomes to the A Division again. Really focussed to get our first win, the issue so far is obvious but we are all pulling together to change it this weekend. If our batting turns up to complement our bowling, we can win any match. That's the aim this weekend. Overseas Tinashe Kamunhukamwe due to arrive next week.

Kilmington (Oli Reed): Only one change this weekend. Matt Reed out and Peter Aikten in. Not loads to work on, just need to build pressure and keep the score board ticking. Important we relax and play our own game, expecting a challenging game away at Barton.
