Tolchards DCL Premier prospects – week three: Exeter draft in Vukusic (pictured) for North Devon encounter | Tyson adds depth to North Devon side

CORNWOOD v PLYMOUTH
Cornwood (Elliott Staddon): It's been a few years since we played Plymouth in the league so don't really know the side that well or what they will bring. Aware they will be up for it, I'm sure. Two changes for us this week with Chris Parker and Harry Woolway dropping down as Matt Skeemer and Alex Shutt are both back available. With a lack of pre-season, it's been two good, competitive games so far to get going. Hoping to see some of the lads build confidence and get some bigger scores.
Plymouth (Sam Stein): Big derby game for us this weekend. Would be a good time to get our first win on the board and put right a few errors from previous games. Been a good learning curve against two good sides previously. Hopefully, that'll put us in good stead for the weekend. Few changes, Matt Whalley in for his debut, my brother Ben is back in, as is Jonny Varcoe as he has no school commitments this weekend.
SANDFORD v BRADNINCH & KENTISBEARE
Sandford (Jackson Thompson): We have the same XI as last week. Will be a good game as it always is versus Bradninch. Focus is on us executing our skills as best as we can and doing it under pressure consistently.
Bradninch & Kentisbeare (Gary Chappell): We've got strong availability this week with Pugh, Lamey and Wubbeling all in. No doubt a competitive game against a very good side.
EXMOUTH v PAIGNTON
Exmouth (Fin Marks): Looking forward to Saturday always good, hard-fought game against Paignton. Looks like they are playing some good cricket at the start of the season. Sadly, James Horler has to revise for his exams next week so Tom Rintoul comes in after impressing in pre-season games and scoring a half-century in the 2nd XI last week.
Paignton (Harry Ward): Neil Hancock is unable to travel and Stephen George drops down to get some overs in. Myself and Mark Gilmour come in. The boys are Looking forward to playing at Exmouth, they are a top side with plenty of match winners in it and look to be pushing for the title this year. We are just going to go express ourselves and enjoy it as a group.
EXETER v NORTH DEVON
Exeter (Clint McCabe): Two changes, Oliver Gribble and Zach Vukusic come in as there are no school commitments. Looking for a better performance overall this week.
North Devon (Jack Moore): James Tyson and Will Popham back in. Obviously a tough start and doesn't get any easier however in both games we have shown we have the ability to compete just got to extend those periods for longer, starting this week.
SIDMOUTH v HEATHCOAT
Sidmouth (Luke Bess): Jash Patidar fractured a thumb last week so he's out, with Taylor Ingham-Hill back for his first game of the season. Ben Way is available again and replaces Jordan Fowler. Obviously we know a fair few of the Heathcoat lads quite well, so it's always an enjoyable game. That being said, I've no doubt both teams are turning up to win on Saturday after identical starts to the season. Should be a good one.
Heathcoat (Dylan Penberthy-Hutchings): Big weekend with both teams looking to get off the mark. It's always a competitive game at Sidmouth and expecting much of the same. Want to see our top five really apply ourselves and the bowlers to back-up Malcolm Cloete and Joe Hancock. Looking for lots of energy and fight in the field. Jack Dart is away this week.
