B Division briefing – week four: Ivybridge unchanged | Budleigh aim for follow-up win

Same again: Plymstock

BOVEY TRACEY V ABBOTSKERSWELL

Bovey Tracey (Dan Green): Availability a big issue for firsts and seconds this week, but very positive and great opportunity for youth. Josh Hill comes up and deserves the opportunity. Looking forward to welcoming Coddy back to Bovey.

Abbotskerswell (Toby Codd): I come back in for Max Yates and Nick Damley-Jones (Exeter Uni) comes in for Jay Hussain who is injured. We'll be looking to back-up last Saturday's result (v Braunton), with the emphasis remaining on individuals taking responsibility to win the game. We know Bovey are a threat and we'll have some plans in place for some of their players. It's always a great place to play.

IVYBRIDGE V BUDLEIGH SALTERTON

Ivybridge (Josh Zimmerman): We are unchanged for the first time this year. We go into the game full of confidence after a solid start to the year. We know it will be a tough game against a decent Budleigh side who have also had a good start.

Budleigh (Ed Doble): No Ollie Blakeman this weekend, in comes Will Down. Looking forward to follow on from last week’s win,

IPPLEPEN V PLYMSTOCK

Ipplepen (Matt Beasant): Three or four changes this week with better availability. We tend to have tight games against Plymstock and they've been in some good form. In a division where anyone can beat anyone, three wins on the bounce for them shows how ctough the challenge will be. We will be looking to bounce back and gain some momentum, which I know we're capable of doing.

Plymstock (Tom Mitch): Fair few changes again this week, side still strong which shows the depth we have at the club. U15 Jacob Hole makes his first-team debut. He has made an excellent start to this season in all teams so was a no brainer get him in. Looking to keep the momentum going and hopefully make it four out of four.. Never an easy game at Ipplepen, but we're all up for it.

BIDEFORD V CLYST ST GEORGE

Bideford (Jack Ford): Josh King, Ollie Hannam an Jim Keates come back into the team. Jody Brown also in. Looking at this week as a good week to kick start our season, and start building some momentum towards when our availability gets a lot better. Only 25 points separate ourselves and the top of the table, so still very early days. Clyst are a good side, and have some dangerous players. We had two good games against them last season & so expecting more of the same this weekend.

Clyst SG (Dan Kendall): Andrew Donovan comes back in tnis week. QWe usually have good games against Bideford; they tend to be high-scoring affairs and I expect this one to be no different.

BRAUNTON V STOKE GABRIEL

Braunton (Sam Reddick): Only one change this week as Jason Raynor makes his return to the first team (after a number of years away) in place of Andy Norman who is away this week. Jason Will offer us some movement with the ball.  Looking forward to welcoming Stoke Gabriel as we look to deliver our best cricket this Saturday at home.

Stoke Gabriel (Jack Tolley): Isaac Withington is out this weekend and will be a big miss for us as he has bowled incredibly so far this season! Also, Ben Till and James Player drop back into the 2nd XI and replaced by Jack Smith and Adriaan Maxwell. Availability is improving gradually, hoping for Mikes Meech and Mike Smith to be available next weekend. Justin Pringle should be here within two weeks as his visa delays continue!
