Glasgow (pictured) scores a ton as Bridestowe & Belstone pummel Kilmington by 126 runs

BRIDESTOWE & Belstone moved on from their derby defeat by A Division champs-elect Hatherleigh with a resounding 128-run win over Kilmington.
Victory killed off any lingering fears of relegation for the men from Millaton, who have seldom repeated the form this season that earned them the runners-up spot in 2024.
Shaquan Glasgow pummelled the Kilmington bowling for 134 – 13 fours, five sixes, 148 balls – in a hefty total of 317 for eight.
Glasgow was involved in stands of 105 with James Ewen (62) and 149 with Craig Penberthy (50).
After a brief slowdown prompted by Kilmington seamer Ben Fuzzard (4-64), Kian Burns thwacked 35 off 17 balls at the end to bring up the 300.
Kilmington’s reply was a more leisurely affair that wended its way from 70 for four to 158 for five – Joel Seward (69) and Matt Pile (39) the progenitors of that 88-run stand – and ran out of puff on 189. Tom Pengelly (3-41) prised out Seward to break the stand.
County paceman Penberthy and Ryan Dennis both bagged two wickets each.
“One to forget,” was Kilmington captain Oli Reed’s basic assessment.
“I think we relaxed too much, knowing we are safe. Definitely need to change our attitude this Saturday.
“Well done to Bridestowe. They were better in all departments and deserved the win."
