Devon's Dan Bowser, Stephen George and Brendon Parr will be playing for the 2024 Disability Premier League title on Friday, September 13 live on Sky Sports.

The Disability Premier League is a pioneering cricket competition, bringing together players from three different disability groups: physical disability (PD), learning disability (LD) and hearing impairment/deaf.

After a six-game season, Bowser, George and Parr's undefeated Pirates take on second-placed Tridents as Sophia Gardens for the title.

Pirates' domination of the competition has been in no small part due to the form of Parr, who leads the run-scoring charts with 384 (179 more than anyone else in the competition) and last week hit 103* from 61 balls against tomorrow's opponents, Tridents.

Pirates' Brendon Parr is the leading run scorer in the Disability Premier League this season.

The in-form Parr will be joined by fellow Devon cricketers Dan Bowser (90 runs in 4 innings) and Stephen George (3-50 from 7 overs) as they look to complete an unbeaten season.

Bowser and George are both stalwarts of the international game: Bowser was named Lord Taverners' Disability Cricketer of the Year in 2020 and has won multiple Man-of-the-Series Awards for England LD, while Stephen George was named England Disability Cricketer of the Year in 2014 and has represented England Deaf for two decades.

The one Devon cricketer who will not be involved in this season's final is Hawk's George Greenway, who lifted the trophy last season. Last season's champions only managed to win one of their six games this season.

Away from the Disability Premier League, Greenway had the honour of captaining England Deaf in their IT20 series against India. Stephen George was also involved in the seven-fixture series.

George Greenway captained England Deaf in this summer's IT20 series against India.

The Disability Premier League Final will take place at Sophia Gardens on Friday, September 13 at 12pm, preceding the England vs Australia Men's IT20 match.
