A Division

Abbotskerswell v Torquay

Abbotskerswell (Nick Watkin): Neal Osborn in and Jay Hussain back from Chudleigh and straight into the team. Fantastic to have Jay back in our bowling attack. Torquay have outstanding players and are no doubt targeting promotion. Bit of a free swing for us this weekend. After two wins in a row thee is no pressure on us.

Torquay (Tom Drake): We welcome back experienced bowler and batter Rob Shergold. Abbots is a team that you can easily slip-up against. A bit of a banana skin, especially at their place. Hoping for another positive performance from the team and a few more individuals standing up and getting those big wicket hauls and runs. We've got to keep this bubbly attitude going.

Seaton v Exeter

Seaton (Joe Berry): Daley Holmes back in the side this week, but Damian Baxter out.

Exeter: (Julian Smith): Skipper Robin Fern is away. Back come Sam Read, Harry Fisher and Toby Jones. Harry will open with Mike Wilkinson, who keeps place after making 50 against Budleigh. Sam will bat at four and Toby gives us something all-round with bat and ball. There are good vibes around the County Ground after recent performances. Let's hope we can keep them going.

Plympton v Budleigh Salterton

Plympton (Jonty Walliker): Skipper and all-rounder Alex Carr and Matt Knight return. We are looking to continue our good form and make it four out of four. Budleigh have some good players so we expect a tough game.

Budleigh Salterton (Lloyd Murrin): Max Mejzner back from university and comes into the side. Looking to put in a more complete performance than in the last few weeks.

Exmouth v Thorverton

Exmouth (Lawrence Greenway): George Greenway, fresh from his ‘Dashes’ win comes back in. Also back are Dan Pyle, Ryan Schaufler, Sam Goodier and Alvin Pollard. We are only missing Luke Davies as he has broken his hand. Looking forward to a competitive game against Thorverton. They are a very good side and have a number of players capable of winning games, so we will have to be right on it again, keep doing our basics right and staying patient. Hopefully the weather holds as the forecast doesn't look too good.

Thorverton (Jake Choules): Everybody is available this week so selection has been difficult. Diamond and Greed are in for Ben Coe and Andy Pitt. Coe will skipper the 2ndXI and while we will miss Andy's off-spin, it'll be good for him to find some form with the bat. Paul Fielder hasn't picked up a bat for three weeks so also misses out. On paper Exmouth away is the toughest game of the season but we're looking forward to the challenge. Looks like early wickets will be important and maybe the showers will benefit us this time around?

Barton v Kilmington

Barton (Adam Parker): Looking to get back on track. It is a big game for us that gives us the chance to get things moving. Justin Saker comes in, which will give us a much-needed lift.

Kilmington (Brett Garner): Still waiting on fitness of a couple. Need to put up a good performance with the bat this week as it's a massive game for two teams at the bottom of the table. The game won't decide our season, but it's important to try get the win and get some confidence back. Availability is a lot better so there could be a couple of disappointed people. That’s a better position to be in regarding availability compared to the past three weeks.
