AROUND THE WICKETS IN THE S DIVISION

Budleigh Salterton v North Devon

Budleigh Salterton (Ed Doble): No changes for this week.

North Devon (Jack Moore): James Tyson back in and Definate Madaswaka arrives in time for this weekend. Tom Ansell misses out due to stag do commitments. Not much to take from last weekend apart from a decent enough batting performance. Looking forward to hopefully a full game of cricket at a new ground for most of us.

Torquay & K v Bovey Tracey

Bovey Tracey (Seb Ansley): Team changes are Rob Pryke and Ollie Clifford-Bourne in for Peter Bradley and Ryan Bougourd; youth to some degree replaces experience. Let's hope for a change-up of the result from last year against what appears to be a strong side post recruitment.

Torquay & Kingskerswell (Harry Passenger): Harry Baxendale awaiting a fitness report. Peggie out diue to exam commitmemnts. Still got a strong side out. Enjoy playing Bovey, so should be a good contest. Hoping tyo pick-up some lostm points from the rain-off last week. But hope to carry on the good start we had. Buzzing to get back playing at the Rec – what a place!

Heathcoat v Kilmington

Heathcoat (Jamie Drew): One change this week as James Gregson is unavailable, Will Bucknell comes in after a strong performance last week. Be nice to get a full game in.

Kilmington (Oli Reed): Few missing this week, still trying to get a team together. One of those weeks unfortunately. Still a good side due to a big squad this year. Expecting a tough game, hopefully the weather holds off.

Ivybridge v Bridestowe & B

Ivybridge (Adam Huxtable): We have Josh Zimmerman in and Jake Dunn out (school cricket). Looking forward to the game and building on the first half of last week before the rain hit.

Bridestowe & Belstone (Tallan Burns): James Ewen, Patrick Ewen, Ryan Dennis and Brandon Horn all come back into the team. Haven’t played Ivybridge for a few years but expecting a tough game. Hoping we can take the small momentum from last week’s batting into this fixture.

Thorverton v Cullompton

Thorverton (Jake Choules): Side still very much TBC which sums up our struggles for the first couple of weeks. Expecting about five changes. Incomers include Bobby Heard, Alex Jopling, Sam Hardwicke and hopefully Shane Yelverton so long as there is no despair in the departure lounge. Either way we’re looking forward to playing at home and hopefully some sun.

Cullompton (Dan King): Unchanged line up for the local match with Thorverton. Looking forward to a good game, if the weather holds, especially after last week’s false start.
