A Division

Tavistock (top) v Cullompton (4th)

Tavistock (Sean Cleave): Jack Smyly and Dave Ball will turn out for the 2nd XI this week, while we welcome back Charlie Barriball and Will Scott-Munden to the 1st XI. Both Charlie and Will bring firepower to the middle order and will be key additions as we look to build momentum. We’ve now passed the halfway point of the season and find ourselves well-placed to achieve our targets. That said, it’s been an unpredictable division this year, so it’s vital we stay focused and continue performing at our best to keep things moving in the right direction. Cullompton have been impressive so far and have posted some big totals. We’ll need to be switched on from the first ball if we’re to come away with a positive result.

Cullompton (Dan King): Big game at the top of the table and we're looking to improve on our last outing against Tavistock. Going into this game with some good confidence after a strong performance against Plympton. Paul Rendall returns and Praveen Palle, to cover the absences of Euan Tinley and Sukhdeep Singh (both unavailable).

Bridestowe & Belstone (6th) v Bovey Tracey (5th)

Bridestowe & Belstone (Tallan Burns): A couple of changes from last Saturday’s game. Simon Gillespie and Tom Pengelly come in for Jack Hatton & Callum Mallett. Looking forward to being back at Millaton and keeping our good run going. Fingers crossed the rain stays away and we can get a game in.

Bovey Tracey (Seb Ansley): Lewis Hammett drops out and is replaced by Tom Andrew, Slade van Staden to take the gloves. Ollie Clifford-Bourne out injured (hand) so Pete Bradley returns. Looking forward to a cracking day for cricket, couple of danger men for Bridestowe, but we have to focus on ourselves and individual responsibilities with the ball.

Hatherleigh (2nd) v Thorverton (3rd)

Hatherleigh (Rob Cockwill): Mark Lake and Charlie Nielson out. Gareth Tidball and Sean Letheren in. Looking to continue our good form against a strong Thorverton team, we know their strengths and hopefully we can come out on top.

Thorverton (Jake Choules): We're really looking forward to this one – should be an exciting game. In my opinion Hatherleigh were the best side we played in the first half, so should be a good test of where we're at. Myself and Harry Choules are back in, as is Bobby Heard who should now be available for the remainder after finishing a work placement over in Ireland.

Hatherleigh's lively seam bowler Sean Letheren, who is back to face Thorverton

Plympton (8th) v Kilmington (7th)

Plympton (Harry Kandampully): One change this week. Amir Patel comes in for Kristian King. Had a close game against Kilmington last time and lost, so know we need to be at our best to get back to winning ways.

Kilmington (Oli Reed): Tom Olive (wedding), Joel Seward (unable to travel) out. In come Zak Szilagyi and Digby Wheeler. Important game this weekend, we need to put last week's performance behind us. Important we enjoy our cricket and stay focused on the task in hand.

Barton (10th) v Torquay & Kingskerswell (9th)

Barton (Stephen Lewis): One change. Sree Sankaranaryanan is coming in for Harry Shelton, just as a tactical change. Expecting a really hard game and need to be cautious of their top order and spin attack!

Torquay & Kingskerswell (no comments):
