A DIVISION

IVYBRIDGE v HEATHCOAT

Ivybridge (Adam Huxtable): Jake Dunn in for Josh Zimmerman who is unavailable. The lads are looking forward to the weekend and playing against another top side in this division. Really happy with the effort and performances we have been putting in so far this season. We need to keep our standards high in the field and with the ball. I’m looking for us to be more ruthless with the bat this weekend.

Heathcoat (Jamie Drew): Dylan Penberthy and James Gregson are unavailable this week. Tom Hatton comes back in and Matt Knight comes in to make his Debut due to good form in the 2s. Hopefully we can bounce back from last week.

NORTH DEVON v BOVEY TRACEY

North Devon (Jack Moore): Plenty of movement this week with unavailability including Josh Atkinson who is rested. A 12--man squad at the moment due to Richard Screech taking part in the 2km Sunfest run on Friday evening so waiting to see how he pulls up. We have managed to get Henry McEndoo (brother to George, son to Patrick) back playing so he will come in to make his debut. Henry takes great pleasure informing people he has dismissed Jos Buttler twice so looking forward to him having a crack at Bovey’s middle order. In all seriousness, looking to build on the first part of the season and keep getting positive results. Got a lot of respect for Bovey in the way they are going about it this year, giving youngsters a crack. Even though results may not be going their way, we are wary they have lots of proven Premier players so will have to be on top of our game for longer patches than we have been this season. Sponsors’ day at the club so hopefully we can put on a good show and celebrate with a few Walter Hicks for Ed Wilson's birthday.

Bovey Tracey (Seb Ansley): We need to keep doing what we are with the ball and in the field, that's been the positive aspect for us. We need to stop doing what we've been doing with the bat, wasteful shots and not facing our 50 overs by a long shot! Myself, Jake Pascoe, Tom Andrew back. Ollie Clifford-Bourne, Toby Hard and Brad Causey out.

THORVERTON v BUDLEIGH SALTERTON

Thorverton (Jake Choules): Pretty much a full squad to choose from, giving me one of my toughest weeks of selection in five years as captain. Harry Choules and Ben Slaviero are back from Greece so come in along with Lihan Laubscher. Lihan moved into the village late last year, but has been playing for Bradninch On the move: Lihan Laubscher before coming across this week. Really pleased and see him as a big part of the team going forwards, along with some of our other young players. Looking to build on the positives of last week for a much-needed win.

Budleigh Salterton (Ed Doble): Team selection is very competitive at the moment which is good for the club. Looking forward to having Hugh Moore back in the side after returning from New Zealand for his first game.

CULLOMPTON v TORQUAY & KINGSKERSWELL.

Cullompton (Dan King): Harry Gillam comes in for Rob Jarrett. Looking to bounce back this week with a strong performance in the field and with the bat and build some momentum into the second half of the season.

Torquay & Kingskerswell (Harry Passenger): No real team change for us. James Tyler on holiday so Beau Rider makes his return to the first team. Spirits are definitely high after the last few weeks. The ‘comms’ will be to not get complacent. Cullompton’s definitely a ground where a game can be taken away from you quite quickly. But looking forward to it.

BRIDESTOWE & BELSTONE v KILMINGTON

Bridestowe & Belstone (Tallan Burns): Two changes from last weekend’s win, Simon Gillespie and Jack Hatton come in for Ryan Dennis and Patrick Ewen. Looking to use our win last week to kick-start our season and start climbing the table. Kilmington will be a tough task so will need to play good cricket to get the result we want.

Kilmington (Oli Reed): Team news sees one change from last week, with Matt Reed unavailable due to family commitments and Joe Elsworth returning to the side for his second debut. After last week's defeat the focus is on being more consistent and ruthless in key moments. We showed glimpses of what we're capable of but need to take our chances better, tighten up in the field and build bigger partnerships with the bat if we're to get back to winning ways.
