PREMIER DIVISION PROSPECTS – WEEK 11

Cornwood (3rd) v Exeter (6th)

Cornwood (Elliott Staddon): Great fight back from the guys last week and happy with not having to be watching the weather forecast this weekend! Exeter a team with individual match winners in their side, as proven earlier in the season, so another strong performance needed to get a result. Two changes from last week with myself and James Richardson back for Stanley Baker and Alex Shutt, who drop down to get opportunities in the 2nd XI.

Exeter (Charlie Clist): A strong team for Saturday. Plenty to build on from beating North Devon last week. We're feeling in a good place for Cornwood. Clint McCabe and Robin Fern are unavailable. Zak Vukusic and Oli Gribble come in.

Sandford (7th) v Plymouth (4th)

Sandford (Jackson Thompson): Another important match against a really good side in Plymouth. We've got one change: Ryan Glass comes in to the side to add some experience and quality. The task is simple: we just ‘gotta’ go out there and do our bit and get a result.

Plymouth (Sam Stein): Two changes. Ben Stein my brother and Fahad Ali in for Richard Goldsby-West and Harry Ramsden. Sandford is always a good place to play. We are hoping to kick-on from a very good win against Exmouth and keep ourselves in the top four. Been very pleased with everyone's efforts so far and hoping that continues further into the second half.

Heathcoat (8th) v Paignton(2nd)

Heathcoat (Dylan Penberthy-Hutchings): An important few games ahead of us with results needed. If we match our attitude and performance against Bradnich & Kentisbeare, last time out, we will pick up the results. Finn Stoneman returns and Jack Dart is back.

Paignton (Harry Ward): Neil Hancock returns, which is a massive boost for the side. Great to have George Woodcock back. His skills will be an asset. Brenton Pedley is also back in the mix – brilliant to have him among it again. Arthur Ray returns as well, which is another big positive. Unavailable this week: Charlie Ward and Mark Gilmour (holidays), Archie Farkins away and I am unfortunately injured again. We’re aiming to carry the momentum from our last two wins into this weekend. Heathcoat are a strong side with some quality players. To get a result up there, we’ll need to play some decent cricket.

Sidmouth (9th) v Bradninch & Kentisbeare (top)

Sidmouth (Luke Bess): A free shot for us against Bradninch & Kentisbeare and a great opportunity to play with some freedom. Trego unavailable. Chiappe is available, so straight swap.

Bradninch & Kentisbeare (Gary Chappell): A couple of changes from last week. Ross Acton, Hard and Wubbeling away. Piper and Hardy back in. Sidmouth have been struggling but their side looks stronger now and we know full well nothing is a given. We'll go there and give 100% to get another win on the board.

Exmouth (5th) v North Devon (10th)

Exmouth (Fin Marks): One change from last week. Billy Reed away camping and I come back in. Difficult result for us last week (lost to Plymouth). Apart from that the lads have been going well. Looking forward to a hot one on the Maer against a dangerous North Devon side

North Devon (Jack Moore): Reuben Windley is back from travelling. Jack Popham also in. Probably best availability we have had … minus the injured lot! Exmouth are a good side with some quality players. Looking to extend periods of momentum this week.
