SIDMOUTH (6th) v PLYMPTON (10th)

Sidmouth (Luke Bess): George Addy and Tom Simmonds back in. James Docherty back down to captain twos and Jordan Fowler unlucky to miss out having bowled well last week. The standings are what they are, we had two tough games against Plympton last season and won't expect anything different this time around.

Plympton (Elliot Hamilton): I always look forward to playing at Sidmouth with the standard of cricket that it breeds. We have Mathew Knight back for one game who has played for us for years is the past as well as Tobin Barker and younger second-team players Isaac Rowsell Jack Martin and Kristian King. We will look to play positive cricket and see how we can push Sidmouth on Saturday.

HEATHCOAT (7th) v SANDFORD (top)

Heathcoat (Dylan Penberthy-Hutchings): Sammy Broomhead is back with us after his stint in Cardiff and we're hoping to see a lot of him for the remainder of the season. Joe Hancock back in from his sabbatical and hoping to have him back firing and bowling like he was at the start of the season. Will Bucknell and Joe Parkinson miss out and will strengthen the 2nd XI. Looking forward to a very competitive game against Sandford. We definitely owe them one and will be going very hard this weekend. We know how good a side they are but we also know they've had some close shaves this year and we're ready to take them close. No one is unbeatable!

Sandford (Jackson Thompson): A couple of changes to the team from last week. Tom Gidney comes back in for Shaun Hawkins (away on family do) and Matt Jeacock will return to the side after taking a break from bowling and nursing his ankle last week. Jack James will slot back in to the 2nd XI. Last game in the first half: where has the time gone?! Needless to say that we want to continue our form and keep giving a good account of ourselves. Consistency and trusting the method/process is key. Will be no different this weekend versus a good Heathcoat side.

EXETER (4th) v BRADNINCH & KENTISBEARE (2nd)

Exeter (Joe Gore): Jarman, Gribble, Cockram and Vukusic all return to the side. Great to have the young guns back in the fold. Have been really picking up momentum recently and have been improving greatly as a unit these last few weeks. Saturday at home is a great stage to showcase this as the lads thrive off our own turf. We always want to make it a tricky place to come and that is emphasised Saturday on what is going to be a good match-up.

Bradninch & Kentisbeare (Gary Chappell): Yuvraj has gone home to play in the Duleep Trophy, which we were aware of before the season. Touch and go if our new overseas (Madawa Warnapura. Sri Lankan batter/spinner; cored 900 runs in North East Prem last year) will be here in time. Dan Hardy and Eliot Acton are away, I'm back this week with Will Squire also in. Exeter have started the season well and seem to be heavily affected by school/uni availability with their crop of talented youngsters. I expect they'll be strong this weekend, possibly with a guest appearance, so we're expecting a tough game.

EXMOUTH (5th) v CORNWOOD (3rd)

Exmouth (Fin Marks): One change. Dan Pyle at Glastonbury. Thankfully, George Greenway is back from England duty so comes back in. Looking for the top five to bounce back after last week, against a very good bowling attack. Cornwood obviously a very good team with the Bens (Hamilton and Privett) and Skeemer with the bat and ball. The lads are up for the challenge. Looking for a good day of cricket at the Maer .

Cornwood (Elliott Staddon): Afternoon, Expecting a real tough game with Exmouth looking strong this year with some match winners in their side. Couple of changes for us with Ben Privett out resting for the Devon game on Sunday in Cheshire and Josiah Caunter unavailable. Max Finzel comes back in from being away last week along with Alex Shutt, who has been bowling well in the second team and comes back up.

PAIGNTON v BOVEY TRACEY

Paignton (Noah Wright): Jack Harman out with a knee injury; Steve George in fresh from winning the Ashes with the England Deaf XI.

Bovey Tracey (Pete Bradley): We have a lot out this week. Full bowling attack out from last week. Rob Pryke (wedding), Seb Ansley (working), Olly Clifford-Bourne (new baby), Charlie Hill (injured), Toby Codd (gone to Abbotskerswell). Coddy is a huge loss for the club. Great guy and loved by everyone. He's been a big part of what makes a great cricket club. We wish him well, hope he enjoys his cricket again and he returns home soon Who comes in, for the unavailable players from last week is to be confirmed. However, we back all players at the club to be able to perform at a Premier level and put in a match-winning performance.  We obviously are struggling as a first team, but spirits are still high. We are still enjoying our Saturdays. Turning-up, playing with mates and representing the club in the right way,  working hard and playing with a smile on our faces. The club is also in a great place. With four teams on a Saturday and a successful women's and junior section. Very much more than just about the first team
