CORNWOOD (3rd) v SANDFORD (top)

Cornwood (Elliott Staddon): Looking forward to a good game against a strong Sandford side who have set the pace so far this season. One change for us this week with Ben Beaumont missing due to an injury picked up last week at Heathcoat. Chris Parker comes in for him in the middle order. Hoping the rain stays away and we can have a good, unaffected game!

Prodigal returns: Ryan GlassSandford (Jackson Thompson): Harrison Jones has gone to Australia for a few weeks so there will change at the top of the order. In comes Byron Knowles after a week away. Tom Maidment has school commitments so he misses out. Ryan Glass has returned home (from Shobrooke Park) and will bat in the middle order and provide some more experience there. It's good have him back. Aside from that same as last week. Cornwood is a tough side to beat at home but we are focussed on get back up and running again after last week's blip.

PLYMPTON (10th V EXETER (5th)

Plympton (Elliot Hamilton): We are looking forward to playing against Exeter as it's always a very competitive fixture where either team can come out on top. After a positive performance (against Paignton) last weekend we are trying to build from that and, hopefully, string enough match-winning moments together to get us over the line.

Exeter (Joe Gore): Batter Matt Long returns to the side. Looking to take last week’s momentum forwards. Hoping for the forecast to improve so we can get some cricket on.

BRADNINCH & KENTISBEARE (2nd) v BOVEY TRACEY (9th)

Bradninch & Kentisbeare (Gary Chappell): Theo Lamey and Ross Acton out from last week. Eliot Acton plus one other in. Looking to continue our winning run and improve in a few areas. Bovey haven't started well this season, but pushed Sandford all the way. W had 2 tight games against them last season so know they're a decent and competitive side. Everyone in this division has good players and nothing is a given.Recalled! Bovey Tracey seamer Charlie Hill

Bovey Tracey (Toby Codd): We know as a group we need to start putting some results together. The next three weeks are massive to make sure we're not cut adrift by halfway. Bradninch are a strong side with experienced players but certainly not a team we fear. We won up there last year so there's not reason we can't do it again on Saturday. Charlie Hill and myself come in for Tom Andrew (working) and Olly Clifford Bourne (Tiki Beach). Fingers crossed the rain holds off and we can get a game in.

SIDMOUTH (8th) v PAIGNTON (7th)

Sidmouth (Luke Bess): Anthony Griff, and Jash Patidar unavailable. Robbie Powell fit again, so returns to the side, and Taylor Ingham-Hill comes in having missed last week. Will Murray also returns. Paignton always a tough contest. Hopefully the (Sid) valley does its thing and the rain stays away.

Paignton (Noah Wright): Same team as last week, Great to have some momentum behind us. Excited to carry it through to Saturday and see what we can do.

EXMOUTH (4th) v HEATHCOAT (6th)

Exmouth (Fin Marks): Don't think we have had a full game against Heathcoat because of the rain since Covid – and it's not looking good either for Saturday. Hopefully that changes. One change for us this week, Billy Reed is away and Pete Turnbull is back. Looking to back up last week’s win with another one on Saturday.

Heathcoat (Dylan Penberthy-Hutchings): Pete Randerson, Thomas Frankpitt and Tom Hatton all away. Dan Butler, Lee Dixon and Jack Tucker all come in. Looking forward to putting in a big performance at Exmouth. Always an enjoyable game there. Looking for one or two of the top five to go on and in general a much better attitude and intensity in the field.
