The Devon Cricket Foundation (DCF) Girls' Hubs provide free-to-access training for state school girls across North and East Devon.

The aim of DCF Girls' Hubs is to empower girls in Devon to reach their full potential in the game, to unite and inspire communities, and to promote physical and mental wellbeing.

Cricket is a game for all, and the programmes are designed to:

  • Introduce players to hardball cricket and feed into local girls' sections.
  • Broaden participation in the hardball game.
  • Reduce barriers to access, providing equity of opportunity.
  • Diversify talent pathways.

In 2024, Devon Cricket will be running two brand new hubs in North and East Devon for state school girls aged 11-14. The two hubs complement the MCC Foundation Hubs currently running in Torquay and Plymouth.

The hubs provide high-quality winter coaching for girls who are currently not involved in the Performance Pathway.
