DEVON go into the final round of games starting tomorrow in the Durant Cricket NCA Championship with three possible outcomes possible.

Third-placed Devon - who are 15 points behind Berkshire – can win the divisional title if they beat Herefordshire at Sidmouth and Cheshire do them a favour beating Oxfordshire at Banbury.

Herefordshire’s sole is avoiding relegation but neither Oxfordshire or Devon are mathematically safe yet. A defeat could eat into the 14-points between Devon and Herefordshire, plunging them into relegation jeopardy.

Any other combination of results will potentially leave Devon where they are: halfway up the five-team table.

Devon have retained the same XI that won by 34 runs against Cheshire at Chester earlier this week.

Twelfth man Will Christophers remains in the squad, which also includes off-spinning all-rounder Sam Read as an extra bowling option.
