What are Disability Supporter Clubs?

Cricket is a widely inclusive game that can bring communities together and positively impact lives. The Disability Supporter Clubs programme looks to make sure people with a disability have the same opportunity.

Research from Activity Alliance shows that people with a disability want to increase their activity levels but struggle to find appropriate opportunities. We are committed to making more accessible cricketing opportunities in Devon to combat this.

What you need to become a Disability Supporter Club

Devon clubs looking to become Disability Supporter Clubs must meet the following criteria:

  • Actively promote Super 1s and all disability cricket opportunities promoted by the Devon Cricket Foundation within your club network, with the sole aim of raising awareness amongst members.
    • The Devon Cricket Foundation will help you with this.
  • Share all information on club social media, website and direct to members.
