Short-Term Vacancy - Performance Analyst

Role: Performance Analyst
Responsible for: County Age Groups
Responsible to: Pathway Manager
Start Date: Immediate Start
Remuneration: Day Rate depending on experience

Number of Days: Approx – 30 days

Devon Cricket Board is looking for a performance analyst to work with our County Age Group teams during the summer of 2022. Devon has aspirations to continually compete in National competitions along with nurturing and developing talented individuals to transition onto professional and International Pathways.

To do this the Board requires a highly motivated and driven team of coaches to create a winning environment and one in which players of all ages have the ability to learn and develop.

 

Key elements of the role:

  • Code Boys and Girls County Age Group Matches.
  • Coding the key elements of the match.
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators agreed with the Pathway Manager providing specific player performance data across professional and Talent Pathway environments.
  • Set up all required matchday coding equipment at any out ground hosting the DCB teams in a home fixture. Maintain the upkeep of this equipment.
  • Ensure all electronic devices are operating effectively on match days allowing live engagement of players and support staff.
  • Pre-match, ensure Play Cricket Scorer Pro is connected with live stream operator and
  • Work collaboratively with the match day scorer.

  • Ensure the health, safety and welfare of yourself, participants and others at all times.
  • Conduct sessions in accordance with the appropriate ECB guidelines and good practice.
  • Take part in other activities as and when required.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Driving Licence.
  • Excellent planning, coaching, communication and organisational skills.
  • IT proficient, in terms of videoing, uploading, note taking and communications.
  • Self- Motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Current DBS, Child Protection (Safeguarding Young People) and First Aid
  • Working knowledge of Child Protection and Welfare principles, policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal office hours.
