Bovey Tracey

Around the wickets in the A Division

Bovey Tracey (6th) v Torquay & Kingskerswell (2nd)

Bovey Tracey (Seb Ansley): Torquay provided a tough test in the first half and their strength shows with their position in the table. e know the dangers they possess in their batting order for sure. I'm back in this week, plus Ollie Clifford-Bourne and Tom Andrew, Brad Causey and Sdan Green drop back down. Let's hope we can keep building after another good win last week and put some pressure on the two just above.

Torquay & Kingskerswell (Harry Passenger): Couple unavailable but still just as strong. Niall McCarthy makes his debut which is exciting. Dan Western deservedly retains his spot in the side. We HAVE to keep pushing ourselves to keep the standards we’ve set all season, and keep making it as tight as possible up top. Can’t afford to be complacent against Bovey they’re due a ‘roll’ of good performances.

Kilmington (8th) v Heathcoat (4th)

Kilmington (Oli Reed): A couple of changes this weekend: Matt Reed returns to the side, and we're also set for a timely debut from Sam Redwood-Loud, who back in the country for a short spell. Luke Meek misses out through injury, while Sam Farrow plays for the 2nd XI this week.Heathcoat's Tom HattonWe're looking forward to a good game against Heathcoat, we know what we need to improve on! It's also sponsors' day, so we're hoping for an entertaining match, and (more importantly) an excellent tea!

Heathcoat (Jamie Drew): Both Bucknells and Dylan are unavailable this week. Tom Hatton comes back in after being away for two weeks. Jack Tucker makes his first appearance for the first team this season after consistent performances for the seconds and in T20s. Artie Evans also comes in to the side for just his second appearance. Looking forward to seeing what they can both bring to the side.

North Devon (top) v Budleigh Salterton (3rd)

North Devon (Jack Moore): Few in few out. Waiting on Jack Whittaker’s fitness on a finger injury sustained Thursday night’s T20 fixture. Budleigh, in my opinion, the best side we've played all year. We know we have to be on it.

Budleigh (Ed Doble): Again, just the one change for us with Al Roper back in for Lloyd Murrin. We had a good game at our place where we feel we should have done better in the second half of the game. Looking forward to.

Cullompton (9th) v Thorverton (10th)

Cullompton (Dan King): Anzil Nazumudeen and Sid Arulvendan back in this week. First game at the new ground for us so looking to build on the momentum of last week. Still looking to put together a perfect game in all three facets but we'll be up for another local derby!

Thorverton (Jake Choules): Just the one change this week with Alex Jopling back in the side. We missed another slow bowler last week so I’m glad to have him back. Looking forward to seeing Cullompton’s new ground and hopefully following in the footsteps of our twos, who won there last week.

Bridestowe & Belstone (7th) v Ivybridge (5th)

Bridestowe & Belstone (Tallan Burns): Waiting on a couple of doubts due to injuries but other than that good availability throughout the club this weekend. Another tough test as Ivybridge have proven to be another strong side in the league.

Ivybridge (Adam Huxtable): Harvey and Arthur Johnson into the side. Really happy to Harvey back around the group after recovering injury to make his first appearance of the season. Myself ( knee injury) and Jake Dunn out. Jake is away in Canada on a rugby tour with Plymouth College. Harry Solomon skippers the side.
