Sunday is finals day at Cheriton Fitzpaine in Mid-Devon T20 tournament
ORGANISERS of the Cheriton Fitzpaine T20 League of Friends final day are looking forward to getting the tournament played on Sunday without any problems.
Three Sundays were set aside for the play-off last summer – and on each occasion the weather washed out proceedings.
Woodbury & Newton St Cyres were due to play Exeter Erratics and Yeoford should have played Rackenford.
The make-up of this season’s semi-finals is Yeoford against Cheriton (11.00am) then Newton St Cyres against Exeter Erratics (1.30pm). The final will start at 4.00 pm.
Tea and coffee will be available all day, a bar will open around lunchtime and the barbecue will be sparked up from around 2.00 pm.
Admission is free, as is plentiful parking in an adjoining field.
Mike Foan, the fixture secretary at Cheriton Fitzpaine CC, said: “We will welcome all cricket lovers to our ground in the lovely setting at Hayne Farm for a great day out for all the family.
“Come and watch some real village T20 cricket.”
