"Working with the Devon Cricket Foundation has been a truly rewarding experience. The team's energy and dedication to expanding cricket's reach in Devon are matched by their ambitious vision for the future.
"I am proud to have contributed to their journey and look forward to seeing the impact of their exciting plans."
With more than a decade of experience in governance across schools and charities, Sam’s expertise in compliance, transparency, and efficient board operations is instrumental in supporting our mission to enrich lives through the power of cricket.
Sam has a rich background in safeguarding, PA, and office management roles within the NHS and education sectors, equipping her with a deep understanding of operational structure and regulatory best practices. Her ability to navigate complex governance frameworks ensures that the Foundation's processes remain robust, effective, and aligned with key standards.
In addition to her professional roles, Sam is the founder of Smart Admin Management, a service dedicated to providing governance support to boards. Her 'super skill' of exceptional organisation allows her to expertly manage multiple tasks, streamline processes, and maintain the smooth functioning of operations.
Outside of her governance work, Sam's passion for music brings a creative balance to her life, complementing her structured professional approach.
We are thrilled to have Sam's experience and organisational talents guiding the Devon Cricket Foundation's governance. Her commitment to excellence and efficiency will help ensure our continued growth and success in delivering cricket programs that inspire and connect communities across Devon.
"The Foundation's small but highly skilled board of trustees demonstrates the strength of collaborative leadership. With governance now aligned to the ECB Gold Standard, the Foundation is well-positioned for sustainable growth.
"It's an exciting time to be involved, and I'm eager to see how both the board and the organisation continue to develop."
