Opting to field first, Devon's attack was relentless from the outset. Katie Donovan (2-29) struck with the third ball of the match, setting the tone as Hertfordshire slumped to 28-2 inside six overs. Skipper Steph Hutchins (4-20) was the standout, dismantling the middle order, while Ellie Bishop (2-16) provided crucial breakthroughs. Disciplined bowling restricted the visitors to 125 all out in 34.4 overs, with only Sally Chapman (27) offering resistance.
In reply, Devon's chase was a masterclass in controlled aggression.
