Harrison Woodcock Joins as West Devon Community Coach

The Devon Cricket Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Harrison Woodcock as West Devon Community Coach.
The role will see Harrison join our Community team, working predominantly in the educational sector to inspire more children to say 'Cricket is a game for me!'
Harrison's background is in primary school teaching, specialising in physical education. Harrison was the lead coach of Cirencester CC's 150-strong junior section at just 21 years of age, with his coaching work and legacy planning seeing him win the Game Changer award at the 2023 Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation Cricket Collective Awards
On joining the Foundation, Harrison said:
"I am really looking forward to working for the Devon Cricket Foundation, engaging with schools and the wider community to showcase how cricket really is a game for all.
"I have a passion for empowering young people through physical activity, and this new role is a really exciting opportunity."
Speaking on the appointment, Operations Executive, Scott Chappell, said:
"It is fantastic to have Harrison on board with us delivering in schools and community programmes in Plymouth and West Devon.
"Harrison brings with him experience from both club cricket and from working in schools, and is a great addition to the team."
