Martin Stephens Joins as Fundraising Manager

The Devon Cricket Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Martin Stephens as Fundraising Manager.

The brand new role will see Martin responsible for leading the development and delivery of the Foundation's sustainable corporate fundraising strategy, generating income for the organisation and securing new partners and sponsors.

Martin joins the Foundation from the Scout Association, where he spent two years as the organisation's Growth & Recruitment Officer, being responsible for setting up new sections, such as those targeting participants from areas of high deprivation, re-energising old sections with new volunteers, and supporting Senior Volunteer Managers.

Martin also has many years of experience supporting charitable organisations as a volunteer, including founding a trust-wide parents' group that now helps fundraise for seven schools.

On joining the Foundation, Martin said:

"As Fundraising Manager for Devon Cricket Foundation, I’m proud to support the work that uses cricket to make a real difference in communities across Devon.

"By building strong partnerships and encouraging charitable support, I will help ensure we can grow our programmes, reach more people, and create positive impact both on and off the cricket field."

Speaking on the appointment, Managing Director, Matt Theedom, said:
