B Division briefing – week 11: Withington returns for Stoke Gabriel | Doulton backs Seaton 's away form

Isaac Withington – back for Stoke Gabriel after a week off

B Division briefing – week 11

Stoke Gabriel (3rd) v Seaton (2nd)

Stoke Gabriel (Jack Tolley): Lots of changes from last Saturday. Isaac Withington, Mike Meech and Liam Mair come in for Kyle Lardner, Jean Le Riche and Ka Horsburgh. Putting last weekend behind us and looking to get back to winning ways.

Seaton (Tim Doulton): One change for this week. We welcome back Louis Adey to the fold. He will come in to wicket keep and strengthen our batting depth. We’ve been strong away from this season and hopefully we can continue that this time around against strong opposition!

Plymstock v Plympton

Plymstock (Tom Mitch): Billy Gibson comes in for Archie Hall. Availability is good for the foreseeable so a chance for the team to stay together and build some form for the rest of the season. A good performance on Sunday (click here) put Saturday’s game behind us. Would be nice to do the double over the local rival.

Plympton (Harry Kandampully): Two changes for the weekend. Alex Carr unavailable and Billy Pitman drops down to the 2nd XI. Chris Dunstan steps up and the experienced Andy Walter comes back into the side. We go into the game needing a good performance.

Barton (8th) v Braunton (5th)

Barton (Steve Lewis): Tom Drake comes in for Harry Shelton, who looks to rediscover his form in the second team.We need to make home our fortress and keep the momentum going.

Braunton (Sam Reddick); Two changes this week as Simon Murfet returns to the side in place of James Kemp and Jon Baglow returns as Dan Brierley is on holiday. Every week is a big game when the division is this tight. A lot of us haven’t played at Barton for a number of years so all the boys are excited for the day out.

Ashburton (10th) v Bideford (top)

Ashburton (Lloyd White): Few changes this week. Berry, Yabsley, Brown all out. Tobes Pascoe, Will Coon and A N Oother to come in.

Bideford (Jack Ford): Batter Fred King back into the side again so I can drop dad (James Ford) back to the 2nd XI. Young spinner Elliot Currie also back into the side after impressing in our two midweek T20 wins over Braunton & North Devon. We won’t be looking at league positions at all this week. Ashburton gave us a scare at home in the first half, and will be high of confidence after a good victory last weekend. We’ve just got to keep doing what we’re doing well currently, and take each game, week by week.

Clyst St George (9th) v Bovey Tracey (4th)

Clyst St George (Par Singh): No Ewan Cragg this week after his heroics last week. In come Steven King and Andrew Taylor. Looking to continue our good run at home. Always have good games against Bovey.

Bovey Tracey 2nd XI (Dan Green): Team nearly finalised. I am back in but Ed Foreman is away. Looking forward to playing at Clyst, lovely ground and have a good game up there. We need to get a few wins under our belt after Saturday's banana skin (against Ashburton). As table is so tight, a couple of wins will make all the difference.
