Devon Women travel to Westbury & District CC on Sunday, 24 August, for the first of three consecutive away Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures.

Devon currently sit top of the Division 1 table, having won all of their home matches in the competition. Sunday will be the side's first away match in the 50-over competition.

Sunday's hosts come into the game off the back of a 97-run home defeat at the hands of Buckinghamshire. Wiltshire had defeated Buckinghamshire the month before to be crowned Vitality Blast! Women's League Three champions.

David Joseph's Thoughts

"The first four games have set us up well for the run-in. Sunday will be about us continuing to do what we've done well all season, but being prepared to adapt to conditions as we're playing away from home."

Captain's Thoughts

"We're heading into the last three league games of the season, where every game counts. The top of the table is looking very tight and exciting.

"We're looking to continue our fine form in this competition and continue building as a team."

Elle Golsworthy's Thoughts

"We're looking to continue our winning streak in the Metro Bank and aiming to achieve three wins in our final three matches."

Vitality Blast! Women's League 3 - Division 1 South

Devon Women won the first game of the day in unfortunate circumstances, claiming victory by 9 wickets after a freak incident stopped play after eight overs.

Devon Women had elected to field and struck early through Katie Donovan (1-4) and Steph Hutchins (2-30), leaving Wiltshire 15-2 inside five overs. Flo Sharman (40) and Sanya Khurana (32) rebuilt with a 58-run stand, but Eva Lewis (3-16) broke the partnership before running through the middle order. Tight spells from Regina Lilii (0-14) and Ellie Bishop (0-21) then helped contain the visitors to 106/6 after 20 overs.

In response, Devon raced to 23 in 4.2 overs before Elle Golsworthy was dismissed for 16 by Grace Wetherall and were 56/1 when Cerys Griffiths' injury brought the day's proceedings to an end.

The second game of the day was cancelled as a result of the injury.
