DACO have launched a follow-up course to the ECB Umpiring Course aimed at those interested in umpiring league matches and competitive fixtures.

The course will be highly beneficial to all umpires, regardless of experience, and especially for those currently on, or wishing to join, the panel.

Course content:

  • Pre-match

  • Dismissals

  • Scoring runs

  • Dead ball

  • Unfair play

  • Managing player conduct

  • Player safety

The course will be led by DACO Education Officer, Don Fathers, with Tutors Paul Smith and Rhys Callicott.

Post course, learners will have the confidence and competence to go and umpire at appropriate levels within recreational cricket.

Cost: £30.00

Pre-requisites:

Learners must be 14 years of age at the time of the course.
