England and Wales are set to host the 2026 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.

Running from 12 June until 5 July, the competition provides a great opportunity for clubs to use the World Cup as a backdrop to grow and build on women and girls' cricket at your club.

The Devon Cricket Foundation will be running a Countdown to the World Cup, running events that support women and girls to be ready for the season ahead, as well as running activities which will engage new communities in girls' cricket.

Become a Supporter Club for T20WWC

As a club, you can use the World Cup to grow your women and girls section, but running an event which will celebrate the female cricket that takes place at your club, or an event that attracts new players to the club. This could take the form of:

  • Women's World Cup-themed festival for women and/or girls

  • World Cup Watch Party: invite people to your club to watch games and enjoy cricket together

  • Community Events: Run a world cup themed day at your club, invite the community to come and try cricket and food from the countries that are entered

  • School Events: Can you invite schools to your club for a festival run by club members?

Take your club to the World Cup!

27 June would be a great day to travel to Bristol to watch a double header game. Let's see if we can take Devon to the World Cup!

Post-World Cup

The Foundation will be running post-World Cup events around the county to capture the enthusiasm of the World Cup and signpost players to clubs.
