Devon's Brendon Parr has been selected for the England Men Mixed Disability squad set to tour India in early 2026.

England Men's Mixed Disability team will travel to India on their first overseas tour in January 2026, after a successful trial home series in the summer, which included pre-tour training at Budleigh Salterton CC.

Brendon retains his place in the squad, having been selected for last season's tour, when he featured in the final game of the series at the Seat Unique Stadium, making 35 runs off 21 balls as England won by 43 runs.

The 2024 Lord's Taverners Disability Cricketer of the Year and Cullompton CC captain had another impressive 2025 season in the Disability Premier League, recording a haul of 151 runs across the four group games played at an impressive strike rate of 138.53, as Pirates continued to dominate the competition, missing out on retaining their title after the final was decided on a bowl-out.

England will compete in a five-match IT20 series across the end of January and beginning of February.

Head of England Disability Cricket, Ian Martin, said: "We were hugely enthused by last summer's trial series against India and it's becoming increasingly clear that there is a global appetite for Mixed Disability cricket.

"We’re delighted to be reciprocating India’s trip to the UK for our first overseas tour, and look forward to a competitive and entertaining series against a team who will no doubt provide a stern test."
